Is Vegan the way to beat the tummy blues?

We have been spending 5 days of each week on a purely vegan diet!

When I announced this was the plan since I do all the weekly food shops and cooking, my caveman partner moaned and he groaned and showed nothing but disapproval.

However mid way through week two and I received a compliment, he says that he hasn’t missed meat at all as the dishes have been so tasty and his body feels leaner and more defined.

For me suffering with terrible stomach problems and poor digestion this has been nothing but a revelation, I haven’t suffered my normal post meal coma and have felt energised yet full after all meals.

My stomach hasn’t had the complicated process of digesting meats and has found the vegan foods easier to digest and I too feel leaner then before.

I am not yet ready to cut meat from my diet entirely as I enjoy a glass of red with a steak when out for a romantic meal, however I do feel that my body with all its allergies and digestive problems will benefit from at least 5 days of every week adopting a vegan lifestyle.
