What a fantastic week it's been so far, I'm so used to styling for us ladies that it was a real pleasure to be asked to give my style advice for the guys in your life on the run up to Christmas!
Layering is huge for the guys this season and really the same rules apply as do for us girlies! Mix fabrics and textures and that's half the battle, start with a thin layer and build around that.
For example if you want to use this seasons must have roll neck than start with a thin ribbed black roll neck and then work your look around this piece.
I would layer on top a graphic sweater from Kenzo or a fair isle knit cardigan, finish off with a wool trench or pea coat and team with your favorite denims and a chunky winter boot.
This is not only on trend but practical as the winter months approach and we are needing to stay cozy outside but easily de robe as we hit the High-street for our Christmas shopping.
One of the questions the viewers put to me was "how guys can stay casual yet stylish?"
For me this is all about how you feel, The runway is a stage and for us normal folks I think we should just take snippets of the seasons trend and work around our lifestyle.
Key to staying stylish yet casual is keep it simple, use pops of this seasons colors and trends and you will feel confident and look stylish.
