After weeks of being on the road with my youngest who is filming a US drama and also fitting in my own schedule of Fashion shows live at the Q I've been debating what would be my perfect capsule wardrobe for this coming season.

Trying to be a less is more kinda gal I've been giving my wardrobe the once over and trying to get rid of pieces that I haven't worn for a while.

I think the perfect capsule wardrobe should hold less then 30 pieces excluding shoes of course!

Starting with outerwear my go to A/W jacket is always my grey Whistles leather, it never dates and is perfect as we transition into the colder months.

A classes green bomber think Topshop or American classics plus a floral bomber mines from Zara.

I then move into the colder outer wear and a classic ACNE shearling  jacket is a must, you can find fantastic copies in Top shop this season and also Zara.

Puffa jackets are as quilted as possible Marc Jacobs has shown us the more quilted the better and again the highstreet have some fab offerings.

Once we have the jackets out of the way we need some nice sweaters maybe 2 or 3, a denim shirt is a must as is a white cotton shirt.

Slip dresses are still huge so wear over a skinny ribbed polo neck or skinny Tee, slip dresses are still a go to for satin lovers but if you want to give it a season update go for velvet!

I'm looking at frayed skinny jeans at the moment but  boyfriend jeans are still my busy mum go to, leather leggings and a must have cigarette pant with matching tux jacket.

The later would be great to update in a burgundy velvet or deep blue/ grey.

Satin and Velvet camisoles worn over Tshirts or polo necks and a few basic black Tshirts long or short sleeve and I think your capsule has started off well.

Obviously with the Christmas season fast approaching a few party dresses we need a hanger or two or three!
